I am Diego Ravier, a freelance photojournalist, based in Brussels (BE), multimedia story teller and educator dedicated to documenting stories of social significance. A sensitive eye for color, the use of complex compositions and the ability to create provocative, arresting imagery that engages the audience are hallmarks of my work.
I am attracted to untold stories that provide glimpses of the complexity of human conditon, tapping into emotions that challenge the audience. Growing up as a son of two architects, I love getting lost through volumes and shapes and composing images that show how humans and space interact.
Holding a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from LIUC (Milano, Italy), I bring an unusual economic background to the fields of photography and journalism. Prior to my career in photography, I worked several years as manager in the automotive industry. After completing my photography studies in Paris I have received several international awards. I regularly contribute to the International press and work with different NGO's. To support my documentary and reportages, I work with corporate and non-profit clients on documentary-style and storytelling projects.
